Monica is a fully qualified lawyer whose main practice areas are IP and IT&C, although her expertise includes areas such as labor, corporate and commercial. Before joining ZMP, Monica was an associate lawyer with various major local and international law firms, focusing, among others, on assisting clients in all aspects of trademark and design rights, copyright and neighboring rights, IT&C matters, personal data protection. On the IP/IT&C side, Monica was involved in due diligence investigations, as well as in drafting and negotiating different types of agreements. Her experience also includes litigation and enforcement cases, prosecution matters, clearance searches and providing ongoing legal advice. She took part into various seminars and conferences in the IP field and contributed several articles to on-line legal publications.
