She joined Zivko Mijatovic & Partners (ZMP) Serbia in early 2014. She specialises in all aspects of trademark law and practice and handles industrial design and trademark prosecution matters before the International Bureau (WIPO), Serbian Intellectual Property Office and other national patent and trademark offices. Her work includes conducting clearance searches and providing advice on availability and registrability of trademarks and industrial designs, handling transfers and licensing, official actions, provisional refusals, oppositions, revocation and invalidation proceedings.
Jovana is head of the trademarks team at Zivko Mijatovic & Partners (ZMP) Serbia. As team leader, she oversees the work of her team, providing guidance and sharing her knowledge daily with each member.
Her dedication, communication skills and meticulousness are her main strengths and have made her a favourite amongst the broad range of clients she advises, including domestic and multi-national, across a wide variety of sectors including food and beverages, tobacco, and telecommunications.
