Our colleague Dr. Mina Jovanovic had the opportunity to contribute with her paper on “Trademark rights and non-fungible tokens (NFT)”.

The event opened up some hot topics, including: can a trademark as a right (property) be the subject of tokenization (NFT), what is the copyright view of the GIF format, what is the copyright definition of streaming, and whether goods and services with a registered trademark in the physical world can enjoy trademark protection in virtual reality? It is clear that intellectual property is becoming more and more important in the context of the Internet, is about to gain even more importance in the future.
