INTA Committee Appointments for the 2022-2023 term

Big congratulations to five ZMP Attorneys appointed to INTA Committees for the 2022–2023 term: Djura Mijatovic, Mina Jovanovic, Joanna Szota, Tsvetomira Vasileva and Ivana Knezevic. This year, more than 3,900 member volunteers applied to serve on INTA committees, which is why we are extremely proud of this success!

ZMP Attorneys in the Inta committee appointments for the 2022-2023 term

Our Managing Partner, Djura Mijatovic, for the second consecutive term, was appointed to the Unreal Campaign Committee which advances INTA’s consumer awareness initiative designed to educate young consumers about the importance of trademarks and brands and the dangers of counterfeit products.

Mina Jovanovic, Attorney-at-Law from our Belgrade office, as a part of Professional Development Committee, will work on identifying resources and programs developed by INTA or from external sources to cultivate the substantive and dynamic skills of all levels and types of IP practitioners.

Within the Trademark Office Practices Committee, Joanna Szota, Polish Patent & Trademark Attorney, will evaluate and suggest improvements to trademark office practices, procedures, operations, and regulations at the national, regional, and international levels, and will monitor and analyze trademark office developments in various jurisdictions.

Tsvetomira Vasileva, Bulgarian Trademark Attorney, through the Famous and Well-Known Marks Committee will have the task of developing and advocating INTA policy on the balanced protection of famous and well-known marks. The Committee monitors and analyzes developments in treaties, cases, legislation, and regulation in various jurisdictions, and proposes policy recommendations to the Board.

Ivana Knezevic, Croatian Patent & Trademark Attorney, as a part of the Parallel Imports Committee will work on developing and advocating INTA policy on the balanced protection against parallel imports. The Committee monitors and analyzes developments in treaties, cases, legislation, and regulations in various jurisdictions, and proposes policy recommendations to the Board.

We are very confident that our Attorneys, with their efforts and dedication, will support and contribute to INTA policies in their areas of expertise, and make a difference in achieving INTA objectives!
