On October 17, 2023, ZMP’s Croatian office actively participated in Mediation Week at the Croatian Mediation Association. We hosted a roundtable discussion titled ‘No Mediation, No Innovation,’ and our Senior Trademark & Patent Attorney, Ivana Ervacanin, acted as the panel moderator.
This was an opportunity to explore the vital role mediation plays in fostering innovation and driving positive change, unlocking creativity and progress. We all agreed that mediation holds immense potential in ensuring the fair and efficient resolution of intellectual property disputes. However, it is equally clear that there is a pressing need for further education and training of both mediators and participants to truly unlock the power of this alternative dispute resolution mechanism.
