Rajka is a Senior Lawyer at ZMP.

Rajka joined the Montenegrin branch office of Zivko Mijatovic and Partners (ZMP) in 2011.

With more than 10 years of experience in intellectual property, she advises clients on IP protection and enforcement strategies by providing opinions on the registrability of trademarks and designs, conducting searches, handling filings, assignments, licensing, oppositions, and other prosecution matters before the Montenegrin PTO.

Rajka also handles Customs matters (prepares and files applications for Customs watching, reports seizures, and the like), performs and supervises investigations, prepares and files writs for the courts, local administrations, and enforcement authorities, manages cancellation proceedings, infringement actions, and other contentious matters before local authorities.

Rajka regularly attends trainings organized by clients, as well as seminars and workshops organized by the state authorities of Montenegro and she herself organizes and manages trainings for officials of the Customs Administration of Montenegro regarding the recognition of counterfeit goods.

Rajka also regularly contributes by writing chapters and articles on Montenegrin IP law published in various international IP publications.

Before joining Zivko Mijatovic & Partners (ZMP) Montenegro, Rajka worked at the Health Insurance Fund of Montenegro, a state institution. During the five years spent at the Fund, she cooperated with healthcare institutions in Montenegro and across Europe, gaining significant experience in drafting legal and by-law regulations, reporting and conducting administrative legal procedures, and preparing and participating in projects concerning the reform of the healthcare system in Montenegro (“Information system as a support to the reform of the Primary Health Care system”, “Montenegro Health system Improvement”-PR campaign, “Information system as a support to the reform of the Secondary and Tertiary Health Care system”, “Strategy on integration private health institutions into the public health system-component of the World Bank Montenegro Health System Improvement Project, etc.).

Rajka also actively participated in numerous workshops, seminars and trainings related to social security rights organized by EU institutions.
