Our colleagues Alejandra Rosero Murcia and Dolores Arcas Candas joined leading experts at the EUIPO Conference on Copyright, held on 20–21 November 2025 in Alicante.
Organized by EUIPO in close cooperation with the European Commission, the conference focused on the state of copyright in the EU and provided a forum to address emerging challenges in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
The event offered a unique opportunity to reflect on policy developments and to foster a coordinated, future-ready copyright framework in Europe.
Through cultural performances, panel sessions, and in-depth discussions, participants explored key topics such as generative AI, authors’ rights, and the role of copyright in the digital era.
A major highlight was the launch of the EUIPO Copyright Knowledge Centre, designed to bring together tools, guidance, and expertise to support creators, policymakers, and the wider public.
