ZMP Slovenia proudly organized a specialized training session focused on counterfeit detection, led by our colleague Žiga Frass, Senior Trademark Attorney at ZMP. The event brought together 19 dedicated customs officers from Customs Ljubljana and Brnik, all committed to strengthening the front line in the fight against counterfeit goods.
The training aimed to equip customs officers with essential knowledge and practical tools to help them identify and intercept counterfeit products at custom´s checkpoints. From understanding trademark protections to spotting subtle differences between genuine and fake goods, the session covered a wide range of topics crucial to safeguarding both consumers and brand integrity.
Žiga Frass shared valuable insights from his extensive experience in intellectual property law, highlighting real-world examples and engaging the participants in interactive discussions. The customs officers gained not only theoretical knowledge but also hands-on guidance on how to apply their skills in everyday scenarios.
ZMP Slovenia extends its gratitude to all the participants from Customs Ljubljana and Brnik for their enthusiasm and active participation. Their dedication plays a vital role in the ongoing battle against counterfeit trade, protecting both the economy and public safety.
We look forward to continuing our collaboration and providing further support in the shared mission of keeping counterfeit goods out of circulation.
