In October and November, the Croatian Customs Authorities organized a series of specialized “Identifying Counterfeits” training sessions in the regional offices of Zagreb, Rijeka, Split, and Osijek. Each two-day session was interactive and designed for customs officers working on both internal market controls and border procedures.
The program aimed to strengthen the application of customs measures in intellectual property enforcement and provide practical tools for recognizing counterfeit goods.
ZMP Croatia actively participated, representing clients from diverse sectors, including leading brands in automotive, cosmetics, toys, and fashion. Our colleague Ivana Knezevic noted: “These trainings are an important step in protecting brand integrity. It’s encouraging to see such strong engagement from customs authorities and our clients in tackling counterfeiting.”
